STP 2 and MICRO REPORTERS
All wages and salaries are now reported under STP 2 reports monthly.
STP is software for reporting wages paid, PAYG withheld and superannuation accruing to the ATO and the employees MyGov account (not for making payments although it can be linked to payroll)
STP is run by you unless you appoint Continuum to do this for you as a New Service
Wages paid and PAYG withheld are reported on your Quarterly BAS
Superannuation is paid quarterly (10.5% to 30/6/23 and then11.0%)
Continuum supports MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks for STP reporting
